Soojung Lee - Soojung Lee (2018) [Hi-Res]

Soojung Lee, the debut album of Soojung Lee, a 19-year-old saxophonist, is composed of her own compositions. She has recorded various styles of music, including free jazz and modern jazz, which she first learned and experienced in her life in the United States. She is making music based on the approach influenced by her idol Cannonball Adderley, Charlie Parker, Kenny Garrett, Wayne Shorter; and the trust among the band members. The drummer Taehyun Kim and the bassist Jaeil Ji from South Korea, and the Israeli pianist Ido Haimovich who shared their musical communication with her for many hours while she was attending College in the U.S.
