This new version of Alberto Rionda's band is full of great stars that we all know: Jorge Salán (guitar), Mike Terrana (drums), Magnus Rosen (bass), José Paz (keyboards) and his faithful squire from Alquimia Israel Ramos ( voice).

The first thing that comes to mind is the production of the work that Alberto Rionda has done: it sounds impressive, it is crystal clear; You can easily listen to each differentiated instrument in the mix. It is a more orchestral and guitarist album, some guitar solos have been changed and others are completely new, clearly distinguishing each one of these two masters of the six strings. Other riffs have also been played differently, but always respecting the original form of each song. It is inevitable to emphasize the sound of the drums: it sounds brutal in all the work. Listen to Mike Terrana pound the patches in "No Man's Land"!

avalanch all star band the fallen angel In "The Fallen Angel", theme that already advanced, highlights the great single that Jorge Salán performs at the end of the cut. "Xana" is quite faithful to the original, while the theme "Get up and walk" has a current sound with a more forceful drums. In "Alma en pena", with collaboration in the choirs of Juan Lozano (first singer of Avalanch), Isra leaves, has improved a lot as a vocalist; the same thing happens in "Delusions of Greatness", in which he arrives at excellent tunings never before heard in him. The ballad "Antojo de un Dios" sounds as majestic as the original, but adding a good melodic solo from Jorge.

The theme that has won the most respect to the original version is "The Ruins of Eden", the whole group does an excellent job. The drums have more hits like the bass of Magnus, the solos of Rionda and Jorge are wonderful, Isra sings like a "God", but that of Leo Jimenez is to take off his hat. What a "beast" (never better said)! His voice has gained a lot in these fifteen years.

The digital download edition provided by the crowdfunding campaign is accompanied by a new cover made by the illustrator Nekro, paying homage to the legendary cover of Luis Royo. This new version of The Fallen Angel is a masterpiece from beginning to end, as was the 2001 original by Víctor García.
