The new album "From The Basement" from England's The Dirty Aces is like a shot of adrenaline. Their steaming mix of alt-rock, classic punk, garage rock, rhythm & blues and rock & roll is reminiscent of The Black Keys and The Strypes but also influences from 60's / 70's Stones, The Stooges and Dr Feelgood are clearly audible.

The centrepiece of the band is vocalist and harmonica player Giles Robson and together with guitarist Filip Kozlowski they are responsible for the deadly riffs, grooves, licks and solos. All supported by a tight rhythm section of Tommy Hull bass and Simon Small drums. The blazing reviews that had the band have received are numerous.
