Les Petits loups du jazz is a group of children from 6 to 14 years old led by a wonderful jazzman, pianist, excellent teacher, Olivier Caillard, who sing jazz works and other songs accompanied by high-class instrumentalists. More than once, the golden plates of these works became very popular and were used by many parents and teachers to teach our young generation this music.
Traditional and modern jazz, Caribbean or Brazilian music and original compositions are the mainstay for the creation of texts by children who master this repertoire live. Unfortunately, it is too rarely used for them both in our country and abroad.
In collaboration with the famous popular author and multi-instrumentalist Helen Boi, the Jazz Cubs have made many interesting recordings, including in their permanent repertoire both the music of Thelonious Monk, Georges Gershwin, Jack Prever, and other famous authors, as well as folk songs in jazz arrangements.
to date, the discography of this unique project has more than two dozen albums, recordings of live performances and collections, not counting training programs and books.
