With Skaali Quartet, Vetle is releasing his debut album, Headed For Something, in september of 2023 on AMP Music And Records.

The music on Headed For Something is characterized by its distinctive tunes which are made up of strong melodies, harmonically rich chord-progressions, intricate forms and energetic improvisations. The unique blend of guitar and vibraphone during the composition's melodies are one of the key features of the quartet's sound which are backed up beautifully by Bendik’s syncopated bass lines and Steinar’s light and swingin’ touch on the drums.
