The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit has been recording and performing original music since 2005 and have probably been enjoying and playing music long before they started TGLTSO. The influences which appear on the album are way to vast to even start trying to name some. The album kicks of with a nice appetizer the wolfman , (listen to the horns) sweet and round as a nice glas of mulled wine, followed by The Very Best , a beautiful song which (yeah, funny enough) I think they should do just once with Paul Simon (no not joking, he could have written this one) . Than the album takes us on a more country-tinted and bluegrass road trips, if I might say so (I don t wanna hurt anybody s feelings in the case of this album) and has a very well thought of playlist as it unrolls its sound and songs from out of the speakers (or your Ipodheadphone of course, I prefer speakers, big ones). It goes a bit up and down, the album let s you take your breathe after a good dance, and invites you even to sit down every now and than, to seriously listen to somewhat country-folkish songs (written mostly by Willy Tea I guess). Of the album One Yard is one of my favourites and slightly reminds me of the late Levon Helm, but than again every song on the albums is a surprise and you ll never suspect the next pace when listening for the first time.
