Since 1967, the name of Oscar Benton thoroughly stuck in the Benelux blues scene. After studying to play the mandolin and violin, Oscar Benton the same year formed his band Oscar Benton Blues Band. In 1968, the band released their debut album Feel So Good. In 1974, Oscar Benton left the group and began working with singer Monica Verschoor, with which he released several commercially oriented singles, which as a result became his first hit. In 1987, Oscar Benton decides to restore collective Oscar Benton Blues Band.
