GB EDGE - Floating in Space (2024)

GB EDGE is Mario Pelosi (Italy), also known as MariOrb. It all started after a painful life experience that influenced his first compositions over time, inspired by the eternal love for electronic music in all its forms and styles, they have resulted in an alchemical composition of softer sounds, favoring the hypnotic and meditative melody, typical of Ambient and Drone. He has several works to his credit also in an IDM and Dub Ambient key, but this “Floating In Space” is his first album focused more on the cosmic sound, as if you embarked on a space journey floating between constellations, planets and black holes, discovering unknown worlds or non-hostile alien presences.His strong passion for science fiction and Drone music has meant that listening to songs like “Constellations” or “Morgona” one has the perception of living an astral experience.This album also contains a song “Arrakis Revenge” composed as a tribute to the great 2021 remake of “DUNE” set to music by Hans Zimmer and dedicated to the Great Maestro Klaus Schulze.
