Jane Siberry - Ulysses' Purse (2016)

Kickstarter-funded new release from the Canadian singer-songwriter.

Ulysses’ Purse, which was originally titled Consider the Lily, will be released Feb. 26. It is the product of a successful crowd-funding campaign and includes contributions from Siberry friends including Rebecca Jenkins, k.d. Lang, Ali Hughes, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Ken Myhr and Kevin Breit.

Siberry, who in 2005 pioneered the self-determined pricing policy by which her website visitors could choose what price to pay for her music, hopes to have some free “ambassador” Ulysses’ Purse CDs on hand at Joe’s Pub for attendees to pass on to friends who are unfamiliar with her music.
