About Joe Magnarelli
Trumpeter Joe Magnarelli worked as a sideman for various jazz musicians, including Ray Barretto, before making his debut as a leader with his album Persistence, released by Reservoir Music in 2008. The album featured baritone saxophonist Gary Smulyan and a rhythm section consisting of pianist David Hazeltine, bassist Peter Washington, and drummer Kenny Washington. ~ William Ruhlmann
