Imaginary Landscape is the debut album made by guitarist Mateusz Bliskowski, which consists of the leader's original compositions and one arrangement of the song Before Dawn (Nim wstanie dzień) by Krzysztof Komeda. The compositions on the album are a musical impression of natural landscapes. The melodies, chords and rhythms of the pieces of music were created as a result of direct impressions evoked by the beauty of nature. The musicians' improvisations form an instrumental discussion about the said impressions and represent an attemptat their own personal interpretation. Music is part of nature, nature is part of music. The recorded material was born in the composer's imagination while contemplating natural landscapes.
