pôt-pot - GOING INSANE (2024)

Pôt-pot are a psych/krautrock band from Cork, Ireland and Lisbon, Portugal. Drones, repetition and motorik beats are pôt-pot’s tools for operating. They produce a psychotropic jam that fits into a whole lineage of travelers who have repetition hypnosis, drone immersion, and other hallucinations of purpose. They draw from the late 60s, krautrockers, the minimalism of Spacemen 3 and passing through the later half-forgotten past of Ba Da Bing! bands like Yume Bitsu or Landing and more recently in bands like Wooden Shjips and other psychonauts. Its always worth it.
