Oxyd - Lapse (2024) [Hi-Res]

After almost 20 years of working together, the five musicians of OXYD, continue to offer music that cannot be classified, because it falls outside harmonic, rhythmic and melodic clichés. Or because, on the contrary, the group has seized on these clichés to reappropriate them and make them its own. Without worrying too much about fashions or aesthetic labels, their search lies elsewhere: in the group's personality and telepathy. The world of the album 'Lapse' is rather sombre, a mix of rock, contemporary music and melancholy melodies. The tracks evoke the inexorable fall of our humanity, but with a glimmer of hope.
