KNOBIL - Knobisous (2024) [Hi-Res]

KNOBIL is a French-language, post-bop, glittering jazz project created by Franco-Swiss double bass player, singer and composer Louise Knobil. Influenced by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus and Boris Vian, she uses her double bass and voice to share her musical diary of polyamory, sleep deprivation and pesto recipes. After touring Europe, playing at Jazz à Vienne, Montreux Jazz Festival and Cully Jazz Festival, KNOBIL will unveil her second album, “Knobisous”, at Sunset Sunside on October 1, 2024. The artist performs her compositions accompanied by her knodisciples: Chloé Marsigny (bass clarinet) and Vincent Andreae (drums).
