Harpist Deborah Henson-Conant teams up with bassist Wolfgang Diekmann and percussionist Davey Tulloch for live versions of ten of her originals. Henson-Conant, who also contributes vocals and humorous introductions, proves to be quite a showperson in addition to being a superior harpist. The music falls somewhere between advanced bop, crossover and even cabaret. No matter what it is called, this release from the German label Laika is colorful and entertaining, not merely a replay of Henson-Conant's GRP recordings.
