House Of Waters - On Becoming: The Improv Sessions (2024) [Hi-Res]

Following the Grammy-nominated previous album, "On Becoming - The Improv Sessions" is the first improvisation album by Max ZT, a hammered dulcimer player who is blowing new winds in the contemporary jazz scene, and Japanese bassist Moto Fukushima, the third album on the sub-label "Mori no Hibiki" of the repertory label "The House of Waters". On Becoming - The Improv Sessions" is the House of Waters' first improvisation album. Their previous album, "On Becoming," was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category at the 66th Grammy Awards. This album is composed of recordings from the same sessions and includes eight improvisations and two Japan-only bonus tracks. Antonio Sanchez, one of the world's best drummers, continues his participation from the previous album, creating a pleasant groove and sense of rhythm. The album presents an original and vivid sound world that no one has ever heard before.
