Electric Kif, Miami’s genre-defying powerhouse, continues to captivate audiences with their dynamic sound and bold experimentation as they celebrate a decade of pushing musical boundaries. Blending jazz, rock, and electronic drum & bass into their self-described ‘post-nuclear music,’ Electric Kif has garnered critical acclaim for their rhythmic intricacy and fearless creativity. This year marks an exciting chapter for the band, with the highly anticipated release of their new album ReThink, set to drop later this year.

Electric Kif is composed of Rodrigo Zambrano (bass), Jason Matthews (keys), Armando Lopez (drums), and Eric Escanes (guitar). Together, they bring a wealth of experience, pulling from years of collaborative sessions and extensive touring across genres. The band’s music is as much an invitation to immerse yourself in vivid sonic landscapes as it is a testament to their rich, diverse backgrounds. Each track pulses with energy and emotion, continuously evolving with every performance.

Their eclectic sound has earned them slots at prominent festivals, including Rochester International Jazz Festival, Ground Up Music Festival, North Beach Music Festival, Bear Creek Festival, and Suwannee Rising Festival. Electric Kif has also performed alongside renowned artists such as Snarky Puppy, Cory Wong, Jojo Mayer/Nerve, Ghost-Note, Stanley Jordan, Adam Deitch, and The Motet.

The band's long history of collaboration includes standout moments with Cory Wong on "305" with Metropole Orkest, Adam Deitch on their take of "Actual Proof," and Mick Jenkins, Wrekonize, and Phoenix James on "Code Green."
