The System - The Pleasure Seekers (1984)

The Pleasure Seekers is the third studio album by American synth-pop duo The System, released in 1985 under the Mirage-Atlantic label. Produced by band members David Frank and Mic Murphy, the album featured successful singles such as The Pleasure Seekers and This Is for You, which helped it chart on the Billboard R&B Albums list.
The title track includes guest vocals from Audrey Wheeler of Unlimited Touch. The System, formed in 1982 in New York, was known for its synthesizer-driven sound, often described as "emotio-electro" for blending hi-tech production with passionate vocals and introspective lyrics. The band was supported by musicians like Paul Pesco (electric guitar) and Kris Khellow (keyboards/synthesizers).
