The Orb, Lee Scratch Perry - Ball of Fire (2013)

**The Orbserver in the Star House** is a collaboration between *The Orb*'s Alex Paterson and dub legend *Lee “Scratch” Perry*, conceived over eight years before its recording in early 2012 in Berlin. The album features contributions from longtime Orb collaborator *Thomas Fehlmann*, vocal engineer *Tom Theil*, and special engineer *Tobias Freund*. While The Orb is known for celestial ambient house, this LP leans heavily into updated dub and Perry’s toasting.
