Renato Sellani - Sempre Amore (2017)

From a date in Perugia in 2004 with Renato Sellani, Nico Gori, Massimo Moriconi and Massimo Manzi, to the meeting, in the same year, with Paolo Piangiarelli who proposed to Stefania Scarinzi to record for him, on the occasion of a concert in the Marche, guest of Francesco Cafiso and Riccardo Arrighini. In 2011 Daniele Nesi, double bass player, involved the singer in a concert dedicated to Mina with Renato Sellani. And so it was, in 2013, after a period of emotional indecision dictated by the death of her father and a serious illness that kept her busy for a while. It was Sheila Jordan who convinced her, finding the most suitable words, those of the heart, telling her that the music she would record, would represent what she was at that moment, and how important this was. On a snowy day in February they were in Bergamo recording at the Cavò Studio. The 15 tracks on the album are classics by: Thad Jones, Ray Handerson, Mort Dixon, Hoagy Carmichael, Parker, Sellani, Gershwin, Konitz, Luttazzi and many others.
