Pepe Bueno & Os Estranhos - Confissões e Outros Blues (2025) [Hi-Res]

After the launch show at Sesc Belenzinho, in São Paulo, the band Pepe Bueno & OS Estrangeiros continues firm in the promotion of their recently released third album, Confessions and other Blues. The group has just released a live session of "O Blues e a Prancha", recorded live at Instituto Bolivia Rock.

Idealized by bassist and composer Pepe Bueno (ex-Tomada), the project bets on an authorial blues rock, intense and full of personality. In the new Live session, the band shows that even in the studio, the energy remains raw and pulsating. The track is part of the new album released on March 14 on digital platforms. Listen here:

Recorded at Orra Meu and Area 13 studios, the album mixes unpublished compositions and reinterpretations, balancing weight, emotion and experimentation. Produced by Pepe himself, Confissões e Outros Blues delves into the Blues universe without giving up elements of Brazilian music and even psychedelic nuances. Another highlight of the album is the track “If I Lose”, Pepe's partnership with Mário Bortolotto, which features the posthumous participation of Diego Basanelli: “he sang the part in English before his tragic death. It's a record full of emotional importance to me."

The launch show at Sesc Belenzinho on 21/03 featured major appearances: Thunderbird, Paulão de Carvalho, Fabio Brum, Mário Bortolotto, Paulo Resende and Fabio Pagotto. Among the most striking moments of the night, the highlight was the cover of "Real Valor “and the execution of” O Blues e a Prancha", entitled to pay tribute to Meyer and Brito.

The band continues on tour and has the next show scheduled for April 24 at Steel Bar, in São Paulo.
