Anders Julsgaard - Funny Clouds (2025) [Hi-Res]

Funny Clouds is the debut album from Danish New York-based drummer and composer, Anders Julsgaard. The album was written over a period of three years, from just before the pandemic to 2023 when it was recorded.

“Before the pandemic really kicked in, I had the opportunity to tour in Greenland, which provided immense inspiration. Compositions like Funny Clouds and Aurora are based on incredibly formative experiences during that tour. Afterward came the lockdown in Denmark, where I experienced the greatest contrast to the vast landscapes I had just encountered—namely, the walls of my own apartment.”
Funny Clouds largely serves as a classic "Introducing" album, addressing many personal stories, joys, and pains.
