Hekate - Evigheten Forestår (2025)

Hekate is a vocal trio consisting of Malin Ålander, Silje Risdal Liehagen, and Synnøv Brøndbo Plassen, each of whom has already established themselves as a solo artist on the Norwegian music scene. Their debut album, Evigheten Forestår, is a collection of traditional Norwegian slåttetralling (dance songs) from various regions of the country, emphasizing improvisation, powerful vocal harmonies, and energetic rhythms. The album was produced by Martin Langlie. The project blends traditional dance music with a modern approach, creating an atmosphere where, in the artists’ words, “the audience won’t be able to stand still.” The album has received positive reviews, notably from Dagens Næringsliv, where it was described as “fantastic” alongside Valkyrien Allstars’ album.
