Digney Fignus - Trouble on the Levee (2006)

Digney Fignus is a Boston based singer/songwriter and television personality well know for his MTV hit The Girl with the Curious Hand. Trouble on the Levee is the first chapter in the saga of Johnnie Boudreaux. The CD enjoyed a 22 week run on the Americana Roots Rock Chart in 2006. The self titled 'Cajun Opera' spawned a host of accolades. Gumbo was a finalist in the 2006 WUMB Songwriter's Contest, Fallin' for You was used by Touchstone Pictures in 2007, and Griftin' River Blues was used in a short documentary called The House that Brian Built. Trouble on the Levee received great reviews and critical acclaim, ending up on radio Top Ten Lists all across the country, including: WUMB in Boston, WGN in Chicago, KNON in Dallas, and KBCS in Seattle.
