Céline Rudolph, Out Of Print - Book of Travels (1997)

This is a live recording capturing the emotion and intensity of the moment rather than studio perfection, reflecting five years of playing together and a constant quest for innovation. The music is influenced by the band's travels to Romania, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Madagascar, as well as individual trips to West Africa, India, and New York City. Céline Rudolph’s voice functions as an instrument, incorporating vocal improvisations, free playing, and elements from modern jazz, Brazilian music, and French chansons, creating a unique ensemble sound where original compositions intertwine with free jazz.
