The record refines the band’s experimental edge into a more focused and accessible sound, blending no-wave, synth-punk, art rock, and psychedelia. Kassie Carlson’s vocals lean into bratty, chant-like melodies, while glossy production highlights the interplay between pop synths and jagged guitar riffs. The album stands as a manifesto for embracing one’s “weirdness” as a form of creative freedom.
