First came to prominence when she joined the folk and gospel group The Seekers, as lead singer, in 1963. Judith was Australia’s first international pop princess as lead singer with the group. She represented Australia in the V Festival Internacional da Canção with the song There He Is in 1970.
In 1995 Judith was honoured with the Medal of the Order Of Australia (OAM) for services to music, particular as an entertainer and composer, then made a Member of the Order Of Australia in 2014. 2011/12 brought celebrations of Judith’s 50th anniversary year in the music industry.
Married Ron Edgeworth in 1969. Durham was her mother's maiden name.
