Hekla stålstrenga - Heimført (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Norwegian band Hekla Stålstrenga is releasing their ninth studio album, "Heimført," on October 3rd to mark their 20th anniversary. The record is a tribute to the traditional folk music of Northern Norway and signifies the band's return to its roots. Work on the album began in 2024 in Rauland, where the band's founders once studied folklore. The album features both traditional melodies and new original compositions, and it was produced by Kristian Svalestad Olstad. The release is dedicated to the memory of lighting designer Torbjørn Thrane Sandnes, who worked with the group for a long time. "Heimført" will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.
