Mojna - Mareld (2025)

The trio MOJNA, who perform Nordic folk music, are preparing to release their third album, "Mareld," on October 10, 2025. The group is known for its unique sound, which features fingerstyle guitar, Hardanger fiddle, and clarinet, and blends original compositions with improvisation and elements of classical music. The new album was recorded with a new fiddler, Tuva Færden, who has brought fresh ideas to the ensemble. "Mareld" is conceived as a cohesive work with interconnected tracks and recurring musical themes. This release follows their successful second album, "Väntenätter" (2024), which received top marks from critics and earned the group's composer, Thomas Eriksson, the title of "Composer of the Year." In support of the new album, concerts and tours throughout Scandinavia and Germany are planned for 2026.
