Dafné Kritharas - Prayer & Sin (2025) [Hi-Res]

The singer of Franco-Greek origin, Dafné Kritharas, winner of the 2022 Académie Charles Cros award, performs music inspired by the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean. In her work, she addresses themes of exile and travel, reviving ancient tales and legends of the region. Her repertoire covers a wide range of musical traditions, including Greek rebetiko and Sephardic songs, uniting Iranian, Armenian, Kurdish, and other cultural influences. Kritharas aims to emphasize cultural commonality, overcoming division. In her arrangements, traditional instruments may be combined with elements of electronic music, creating a mesmerizing and moving sound.
