Sentimiento, Tú is a landmark studio album by Puerto Rican salsa and bolero singer José "Cheo" Feliciano, released in 1980. This album was the artist's last release on the Fania label (through its subsidiary Vaya Records) and the third in a series of albums self-produced by Feliciano in Puerto Rico. The title, which translates to "Feeling, You," is a signature phrase often used by the artist in his improvisations and reflects the emotional depth of the entire material. The majority of the compositions were penned by the legendary Puerto Rican songwriter Tite Curet Alonso. The album is renowned for its profound social commentary delivered through powerful lyrical narratives. For instance, the track "Juan Albañil" tells the story of a mason who cannot afford the housing he builds, while "Sobre Una Tumba Humilde" contrasts the mourning of a rich family with that of a poor one. Feliciano and Alonso managed to convey provocative ideas of solidarity without resorting to explicit political slogans, all while utilizing the classic Fania "salsa sound."
