Kwoon - Unplugged from the Moon (2025) [Hi-Res]

"Unplugged from the Moon" is a special release by the French post-rock project Kwoon, presenting an acoustic reimagining of their selected discography. The concept of the record was born from a desire to capture the magic of solitude: the recording took place inside a real lighthouse, which has become a signature element of the band's visual and sonic aesthetic. The release eschews heavy electric effects in favor of the pure sound of acoustic guitars, cello, and soulful vocals. It is a journey deep into familiar compositions, which, in their new arrangements, acquire additional fragility and sincerity, creating the effect of the musicians being in the same room as the listener.
