THE CRITTERS—famous for the hits ‘Mr. Dieingly Sad’ and ‘Younger Girl’—cut a classic LP of the sunshine pop genre: 1966’s ‘Younger Girl’. Sounding like an amalgam of the Lovin’ Spoonful and the Beach Boys, The Critters were able to deliver immaculately arranged soft pop and rock with a garage bite.
The CD contains their pre-hit, Musicor recordings, including two previously-unreleased tracks, ‘So Hard To Find’ and ‘Let Me In’ from the original master tapes!
