PILLBERT's debut album, "Memoria," explores profound questions concerning the search for identity and the redefinition of the concept of "home." Inspired by her relocation to London and subsequent feelings of isolation, Lilian Mikorey crafted a unique sonic landscape blending folk motifs with experimental field recordings. The production was centered on the visual imagery of a house that simultaneously radiates warmth and a sense of abandonment. Throughout the recording process, the artist transitions from attempting to artificially reconstruct a sense of security to embracing uncertainty. Across ten tracks, the album posits that being "lost" is a necessary catalyst for personal growth and the achievement of internal autonomy.
