The album Solid Static features archival 1997/98 sessions recorded by the powerhouse trio of Nanjo, Kawabata, and Yoshida. Originally intended for Mainliner, the material shifted toward the improvised deconstruction and jazz-informed psychedelic rock characteristic of Musica Transonic. The music blends heavy motorik riffs, distorted bass, and complex percussion, serving as a standout example of the Japanese underground. This release marks the first official physical edition of these rare sessions, which were previously available only as limited-run CDRs.
