Windmills - Pilot Episode (2026) [Hi-Res]

Pilot Episode is the forthcoming full-length album from Canadian artist Windmills, the stage moniker of Cory Myraas KelownaNow, based in Kelowna, British Columbia. Slated for spring 2026 WINDMILLS Music, the record arrives via Sounds Suspicious — an indie label and Okanagan-based collective founded by producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Judah Andrew Judah, who serves as Windmills' long-standing co-writer and engineer.
The album is framed as the opening chapter of a new creative cycle, following the artist's "1 song a month for the rest of 2024" series WINDMILLS Music — a conceptual release strategy that began with the summer single "As You Like It" and concluded in the colder months with a six-song introspective arc exploring ego, love, self-doubt, and the pursuit of healing under the banner "QUIET TRAUMAS" WINDMILLS Music. The television metaphor embedded in the title gestures toward serialized drama: the record is pitched as the start of a new "season" in the artist's catalogue. One of the album's signature songs, "The Last Supper, 1986," was premiered live at Fireside Festival 2026 WINDMILLS Music.
Stylistically, Windmills continues along the line the artist himself has defined as "moody indie swoon pop" KelownaNow — melancholic, dynamic indie pop with dream-pop and ambient inflections.
