À Voix Basse (Bande originale du film) is the original score for the French feature film of the same name, directed by Leyla Bouzid and composed by clarinettist Yom (born Guillaume Humery). The film premiered in the main competition of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival on February 13, 2026, and was released theatrically in France on April 22, 2026 (distributed by Memento). The story follows Lilia (Eya Bouteraa), a Paris-based engineer who returns to her native Tunisian city of Sousse for her uncle's funeral, only to confront family secrets tied to the taboo of homosexuality. The cast also features Hiam Abbass, Marion Barbeau, and Feriel Chamari.
Yom's score is a chamber-like, intimate work in which the clarinet — the instrument that has long been his signature — serves as the primary voice, intertwining with elements of electronica and Middle Eastern melodic lines. The music is seamlessly woven into the film's dramatic fabric, balancing contemplative silence with emotional tension. The compositions are predominantly meditative in nature, ranging from expansive, floating themes ("Inner Cosmos," "Nostalghia") to fragile lyrical sketches ("Silent Love," "La promesse").
