Eddie Gripper - Americana (2026) [Hi-Res]

Eddie Gripper’s album Americana is the product of an extensive 8,000-kilometer hitchhiking expedition across the west coast of North America during the summer of 2022. Spanning from the Arctic Circle in Alaska to Los Angeles, the journey inspired over thirty musical sketches and impressions. Recorded with a trio featuring Patrick Barrett-Donlon and Clem Saynor, the project comprises original compositions alongside a rendition of Paul Simon's "American Tune." The record serves as a direct sonic documentation of the travel experiences gathered throughout the trip.
