Paul Mauriat - Magic (2026) [Hi-Res]

French easy listening legend Paul Mauriat delivered a polished collection of early 80s pop interpretations with his 1982 album Magic. Released on the Philips label and arranged by Mauriat alongside Gérard Gambus, the 13-track album features Mauriat's signature lush orchestral arrangements covering contemporary hits of the era, including Elton John's "Empty Garden," Paul McCartney's "Ebony and Ivory," Chicago's "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," and the title track from New York, New York, performed by Liza Minnelli. The album also includes a new 1982 version of Mauriat's own enduring classic "L'amour est bleu (Love Is Blue)". Original compositions by Mauriat and Gambus, including "Sun River," "Hot on the Scent," and "Morning Hunt," are also featured.
