Released on the Philips label, the 14-track album features Mauriat's signature lush orchestral arrangements covering contemporary hits from the era, including Lionel Richie and Diana Ross's "Endless Love," Olivia Newton-John's "Physical," Elton John's "Blue Eyes," and an ABBA medley of "One of Us" and "When All Is Said and Done". The album also includes the title track "Paris Ballade," which features the vocal stylings of the renowned French singer Danielle Licari.
