Se Soltó is a landmark studio album by American pianist and composer Ricardo "Richie" Ray, released on January 1, 1966. The record became a seminal piece in the history of the boogaloo genre and classical salsa.
On this album, Richie Ray blended classical piano, Cuban danzón, and the popular 1960s rhythm and blues style, creating the hybrid style Danzón Bugaloo.
The release cemented the long-standing partnership between pianist Richie Ray and singer Bobby Cruz, who later became known as the "Kings of Salsa."
