Mario Franco - Gathering (2026) [Hi-Res]

The musical project "Gathering" evolved from the author's childhood fascination with Native American history and personal memories of repetitive lullabies sung to his children. Having re-evaluated the tragic historical reality faced by indigenous tribes, the composer created a cycle of pieces inspired by an archival photograph of three Cheyenne warriors taken by Edward S. Curtis. The album serves as a conceptual tribute to the Native American people and the photographers who documented and preserved their unique cultural legacy.
