The Sleeves - The Sleeves (2026)

Jack Cooper and Tara Cunningham, members of the band Modern Nature, formed the duo The Sleeves following an improvised session in early 2024. Moving on from their instrumental debut, the musicians recorded a new self-titled album of 10 vocal and guitar songs, marking a significant step forward in their artistic journey. Built on intuitive understanding and a shared creative approach, the project reinterprets the classic guitar-and-vocal duo format. The musicians combine minimalist performance, unembellished guitar tones, unconventional non-instrumental sounds (radio static, bells), and 1960s-inspired folk-pop vocal harmonies to create a distinctive, genre-defying sonic space.
