This is the 17th album & it’s titled “6 Weeks Holiday, Nowhere To Play”, all tracks were wrote & recorded in Zenxith’s house in late 2025 during the cold months of October & November, so it really didn’t take long to record this album, in fact it only took 35 days from the first track to the last track being recorded & a lot of these songs were done while I was drunk it sort of carries straight on after the last album, I just couldn’t stop writing songs during this time period, the first song was recorded on the 23rd of October 2025 & the last on the 26th of November 2025, all just recorded directly into my phone, there’s no need for studios etc, especially from a DIY perspective, no label etc etc, this is authentic! This album is a lot more personal, I feel my songs have gotten more real over the past few releases, the cover art is the gorgeous Natalie Wood standing on a swing in 1955, which I designed myself on the 3rd of December 2025, the title of the album comes from a picture in an old book which has been stuck on my guitar for years now. Tambourine, shaker & a drum machine throughout, although a couple without drums, sprinkles of synth keyboards playing quietly in the background, an acoustic lead guitar in there somewhere, handclaps also, lofi jangle pop from the bedroom!
