Shrimp Hat - Somewhere East (2026) [Hi-Res]

The new musical release by the band Shrimp and songwriter Rachel Nawrocki is an autobiographical, short-format concept EP styled after road-trip narratives. The songs reflect the vocalist's multi-decade life journey and her relocation from New Mexico to Pittsburgh. Arranger and producer Ian Toole transformed Nawrocki's acoustic demos into a cohesive record, supported by the rhythm section of Eric Koester and Ben Sukenik, utilizing atmospheric instrumental interludes to represent the cross-country migration.
