”Ambient Nordic Jazz with a Calm Atmosphere by a Swedish Pianist
Recorded in Stockholm between 2024 and 2025, this album, Solera, features the pianist's own piano and synthesizer, along with an electric and acoustic ensemble of musicians active in the Swedish jazz scene and symphony orchestras, playing bass, flute, saxophone, vocals, drums, and percussion. Drawing on his experience providing music for radio programs and film soundtracks, as well as his own jazz trio and sexted groups, the album skillfully blends these elements to create an emotional and tranquil soundscape. Solera means aging in the context of wine. Through repeated performances and recordings over time, the sounds have aged, developing into music with a profound depth and a decadent beauty reminiscent of ECM recordings.
