Swiss vocalist Lea Maria Fries, a graduate of the Lucerne School of Music, rose to international attention as a semi-finalist at the 2010 Montreux Jazz Festival. Following formative years in Berlin and a subsequent move to France, she has established herself as a versatile performer, bandleader, and collaborator currently based in Paris and Switzerland. Leading projects such as et.nu and 22° Halo, Fries blends jazz, pop, rock, and electronic influences. Her musical identity is defined by improvisational freedom, rhythmic precision, and a broad collaborative range across multiple contemporary styles.

Live at Cully is a concert recording by Lea Maria Fries, captured on 10 April 2026 at the opening night of the 43rd Cully Jazz Festival, performing under the Chapiteau tent on the shores of Lake Geneva. Released by Heavenly Sweetness on 17 June 2026, just over two months after the performance itself.
