The music compilation Le Beat Bespoké 8, released in 2019 by the independent label Detour Records, rescues forgotten gems of the 1960s nightlife from obscurity. The album features underground dance tracks that missed out on mainstream recognition during their era but have since achieved cult status among modern collectors and DJs. Stylistically, the material is centered around the British mod subculture and classic beat music. The compilation's unique appeal lies in its curation: every track was rigorously tested on the dancefloor of the famous London club night The Mousetrap. Prior to release, the audio underwent meticulous technical restoration and remastering. The album was issued in multiple formats, with the CD version offering an expanded tracklist of 20 songs, including four exclusive bonus tracks.
