10 years of Jo Didderen & L'Equipe De Rêve - that's something to celebrate! L’Equipe Lab swings, twists, surprises, soothes, thinks, explodes, and comforts. Anything goes, everything’s allowed.

That's exactly what we're doing with this very first album under the banner of L'equipe Lab. Thanks to the wonderful collaboration with Wouter Budé and co., my own dream team is both returning to its roots and reinventing itself.

In the Lab, the band is given full freedom to experiment. Entering the studio with no set plan, creating a live setting there, and seeing what happens. Sometimes with the full band, sometimes with just a part of it. Jazz, Meters-style funk, lullabies, South African rhythms, bird sounds, blues - you name it.

L'equipe Lab swings, twists, surprises, soothes, thinks, explodes, and comforts. Anything goes, everything's allowed.

The only signs we follow are "Toutes Directions", where it all ends up, we'll find out along the way. "En Route", on the way to more! (Jo Didderen)
