Ferries - Eye Wander (2026) [Hi-Res]

Rotterdam-based band Ferries release their second album, Eye Wander, on 17th July via World of Echo. Following the quiet, barely-noticed release of their debut, Eye Flutter, in 2025, the band has continued to exist in its own particular way — remaining low-profile, almost ghost-like within the music scene. The new record keeps the same physical format as its predecessor (vinyl), but pushes a step further into smoky, hazy territory drawing on dub and krautrock. The band deliberately resists clear genre labels: neither "avant-garde pop," nor "dub kraut," nor even "indie" quite captures its sound. Writer Leon van Barneveld, of Bergpolder, deliberately steps away from the conventions of the standard music bio — no lists of influences, tour dates, or borrowed quotes — leaving the release of the record itself as the one essential fact.
